as the days went by..

The day starts...I don't have to go to school, It begins to feel
like its summer...but its not, The memories of what happened
in the summer, Started flowing right through me...keeping me awake...
Not letting me fall asleep...not letting me dream...
I began to lose sleep..like my summer began again...

It was when...my hurt came out in the open, It was when my heart
got stabbed right in front of me, It was when...hate and darkness took over me, My heart only beat for a little while longer...
and it Died with the hate still inside...i began feeling
Nothing at all...no pain...no sadness...no love...

Then I meet you Alyssa...The darkness stoped inside me
It stoped whispering deep inside of me, Then the thought occurs
to me...if you stand with me, If you stand by my side...if you be
my light...shining, On my darkness...then just maybe...
my heart will be born, Born pure...and not blackened as it is now...

With you I believe...i can start to sleep...with you, I can start
to dream...with you i can put an end to this, Memory that hunts me when i have free time, If i could keep a memory with me forever...
