Another piece in our poetic correspondence. He and nature are my muses.
Familiar scenes orbit me;
I orbit them.
Peppering through the sky
A papery double-helix of mutual disdain.

Three days ago the sky erupted:
It's been heaving ever since.
And to the soothing violent music of silver on concrete
I gingerly repeat the steps of another night.
Dancing, like I've been told;
Dancing "Biomimicry of the Souls"

Some months ago, the world erupted
It's been healing ever since
Seems ink is thicker than water
(It's stained the tips of my toes)
Keeping in step with this magniloquent recital
We write stitches into our fractured stage.
