Memories

Frost me in thy eyes with so much fire
As I lay my head in memories so thrown
When I used to cup your face and wipe your tears
When we used to hold hands and fight our fears
To thee our story has been told
We made a pact to each other:
Our memories shall never grow old
But immortality was not for us to behold
Will the gods enslave and pour such a gift?
To our past were we shall forever live
I still smell the rain where we used to dance with
The night we ought to see the miracles of heaven
I can still feel the wind’s soft whimpers
That let our souls cry to be free
So sunken high and dry
Now as I lay above this grass
With me is a misery forever shall last
For you are so true to on time so bound
The cold shall melt the grip in me
To have lost you in astray
