Thoughts

One day, one step at a time
I pray he doesnt change his mind.
I know exactly how he feels,
but is this love truly real?

Those light blue eyes,
and his awesome smile
make me dream of a place unseen,
where this will last, or I'll find out what it means.

He means the world to me,
and so much more.
But when Ive been hurt so bad before,
how can i know for sure?

I look at myself in the mirror,
and wonder what others see.
Do they see a girl in love,
or just plain ole me?

So many questions in my head,
too many words afraid to be said.
Like, does he see the pain from my past,
and does he believe this love will last?
