A poem I wrote about a punk in love.
There is a girl, who is pretty and slim and speaks her mind,
She has a feeling which is the greatest world has ever known.
There is a boy, they say he is full of shit and wastes her time,
He leaves her seething for more heartbreak before he goes home.
He said to her so quietly you would think there was a crime;
         “Would you recognize what you are if you saw it at a distance?
         Have you walked both sides of the fence?
         Can you find the hole through the wall?
         Don’t you wish it wasn’t so fucking tall?
         Where the fuck is our drugs?
         Where the fuck is our drugs?
         Where the fuck is our drugs?
         I was born a thug, but raised a creep.
         Into my skull I dug, peace of mind wasn’t cheap.
         I wish I were a punk like they are.
         You wouldn’t have thunk I didn’t want to be a tard.”
