My first fantasy fiction piece. =)
[This is my first fantasy fiction piece. Please don't be too harsh!]

The rough textured wind blew past Skyden and Leono gently. They exchanged brief smiles that were hiding hectic thoughts. "I'm so glad you're back," Skyden remarked, "I was so lost without your eccentric embrace." Leono looked at Skyden containing a promising emotion within his eyes. As promising as it was, Skyden was still not too sure if she could put her solid trust in him again.

You see, Leono and Skyden have a pretty heavy past with one another. Some of it wonderful and some of it malicious. About three hundred decades ago, Leono had done a very horrid thing. He abandoned Skyden in her own remorse by becoming romantically involved with her cold hearted sister, Rosenya. Rosenya was a beautiful being with long black locks and a milky white complexion. She would often try to lure male vampires, such as Leono, into her presence. Skyden convinced herself that she would never trust either one of them again.

"You know what you did to me was no good," Skyden said emphasizing the aggression in her voice. "Please don't speak of those times," Leono replied hastily, "I do not wish to consume anymore regret that I am already receiving from the beat of your heart alone." "Alone?," Skyden retorted, "No such words should exit your throat when you have not even experienced such an emotion. I was the one left to fend for myself in the land of Cosmata while you were with my retched sister, Rosenya.

"If such feelings of distrust are running through the very veins in your wrists, then I am not sure that I have anything left to say," Leono informed her, "I have no time for apologies when you know damn well that sorry does not mend a broken soul."

To Be Continued.
