a special guy who crosses the line of bf to just-a-friend
You ain't just-a-friend
I wish that if we part you could be
But you have no hand to lend
In making me feel better, you see
You see, I feel that you can't be just-a-friend for too long
We could hold on strong and feel it but it can't be that way
I try to be keepin' up and stayin' strong
But I feel that every single long day
It's a waste with you because every day I can't understand
Anything you say or do because I feel I'm in love with you
But I guess if you don't feel it then there's nothin' I can say man
But I feel like the whole dang world is against me
I can never win when I lose once because that's the way it is
I love to be with you its like a song in melody
People say you can't love at this age we just kids
But that isn't the way it is
You can't just hurt me and then be my friend
Then we hook up and you just continue to desert me
I don't know what to say to you except that you aren't just-a-friend
You have no hand to lend and I'm sorry that you can't just "feel it"
Feel what some kind of feeling you get when you have a little crush
But I feel so overwhelmed and so angry and maybe at you
I don't know what to think about you wait gimme a minute this is too much
I try to move on but you come in and out of my life and I can't resist you
You know what you do to me
You know what that you won't be forever just-a-friend
I love you don't you see?
I thought we were gonna spend our lives together
I thought you did have a hand to lend
But then again, you just aren't forever.
This is why... maybe you just have to be... just-a-friend...
