Roses Revived

roses are red
violets are blue
but i cant find this bed of roses
in my journey for you

although im tenacious
to find roses in this quest
i run blindly into the darkness
and hope for the best

but i dont find the roses
only the thorns reside
and when i reach to touch them
i feel an acute pain inside

and you cant but these roses
they're too priceless to give away
for they're rare and hard to find
to find one would make anyone's day

its texture so vast
and its looks so grand
what an exquisite feeling
to have it in your hands

and if you look hard
you might have some luck
you could find it growing wildly
and have it with a little pluck
