A poem pertaining to Abuse.
Don't tell me that you love me,
then treat me with such hate;
Don't claim that we'll work out,
then quickly walk away.

Don't say that I am beautiful,
then insult the way I look;
Don't quote to me the Bible,
for I've also read God's Book.

Don't promise you will be here,
then quickly leave my side;
Don't claim you'll always love me,
when your' love for me has died.

Don't you dare judge my intention's,
as if they all are false;
Don't try to mend my broken heart,
it no longer has a pulse.

Don't ever think you own me,
I'm not your' property;
Don't treat me like a Trinket,
that no one gets to see.

Don't tell me what we have,
was always meant to be;
Don't do me any favors,
I don't need your' charity!

Don't offer me your' love,
when love you've never known;
Don't knock upon the door to my heart,
'cause there is nobody home.
