This is meant for all you suckers that thought life was a popularity contest
publicity is so overrated.
everywhere it's just popularity and ridicule,
can't get a word in without getting lashed out hatred.
everyone, every place is just people talking smack, trash, all but nice.
never was a time when scrap was accepted,
shit spoken now feels like being stuck with knives.
and the first stab just gets deeper and more painful,
seeping out from it is your ego,
leaking out looks so pitiful.

and as time grows old,
you're still ashamed of when you were so helpless.
embarrassed of how you had no control.
we think humiliation will just fade away,
blow away like leaves in the wind.
but days, weeks, months, years go by and still they say;

you're so imperfect,
you reek of an open mind.
swatting you with words like a irritating insect.
keep your mouth shut.
nobody wants to listen...
but you speak, yell, scream
as loud as you can!
let it out,
let it out like a ripped open scab,
dripping over and out and on the floor.
watching as other slip and eat up your words.
you laugh in their faces as you scrimage for more.

look now,
you've turned against your own mirror.
and you finally stand in the crowd.
you're a disgrace to your own peers,
you hypocrite.
now we all ask why.
you've pushed, you've pulled.
in the end now you stand alone.
against everyone.
you hypocrite.
your eyes are now open doors.
we all know what you crave,
what you hunger for.
you hypocrite.
that's respect you're never getting back.
now who talks shit?
now who lashes out hate?
now who's stabbing who?
you hypocrite,
you've just gone and stabbed yourself right in the back.
