Carnival

kisses fueled by passionate love
dot the baby smooth skin of his cheeks.

neon lights twinkle and light up the evening sky
but their eyes are closed and neither dare to sneak a peek.

ferris wheels continue their endless journey
round and round in the horizon they go.

passion and lust clutter their minds
and all thoughts of their surroundings fly out the window.

as they near the decent of the carnival ride,
innocent laughs echo from their cart.

the aftertaste of thier kisses linger
leaving a everlasting taste thats sweet,not tart.

knuckles interweave and silently plead 'never leave.'

& as she tugs him along to the next ride in store
he unwittingly agrees.
