cheating and forgiveness in a relationship
Did you know that I loved you?
I told you once, but surely you forgot.
You forgot because you cheated.
And in your tangled web of lies I forgot.
I forgot because I cheated.
Once I only wanted you.
Every word and feeling between us true.
But in the end life took its toll.
We tried and tried until we broke.
You held her and felt whole.
He held me and I felt loved.
Now he's gone and so is she.
And I never thought that I could feel so empty.
So I ran home to you.
And unlike so many nights you were there for me.
And in replacing them we found the us we used to be.
Now you feel whole in my arms.
With you I feel loved.
And true love is in our grasps.
At home once again.
