"That Man"


Never could understand that man
I've decoded a lot of different males in my life
But not that man

That man can make me feel like the lowest woman alive
But kisses me on my cheek, and make me forget I cried.

That man, never could understand him
Conversation was sweeter than candy
But would sometimes not answer my calls
and on some days would even ignore them all

How did I fall in love all over again
Thought I knew all the game in the world
But that man came right along
and made my toes start to curl

Never could understand that man
Couldn't stand to see me talking to another dude
But would stand right in my face and hug another woman like it was cool.

Tried to stop loving that man
Before my heart was broken all over again
But much to my surprise, it was hard to do
He would tell me things like lets go to the movies, lets sit in the car and talk, lets make love again in the streets and hope not to get caught

Damn, I wish I could understand that man
It's had being with somebody who ignores your calls
But holds your hand, who's jealous about you and other men but talks to all the females and say they're his friends, who introduces you to his mom, but not to his boys, who loves to make you smile when he sees you, but will talk a lot of noise, who...........Damn,
I wish I could understand that man.
