A poem speaking of what my life has become and uplifting someone who I care for greatly.
Life

I bask in my euphoria in this ecstatic state
Admiring that which has yet to happen
Running from my troubles and creating hate
Living for everything without a blow to soften

I’m covered in your flesh
Everything in me is what you have become
Struggling with a constant thresh
Yet I am spiritually numb

Caressing each moment with a pure sense of apathy
Living with the embrace of natural life
I have long since forgotten my sense of empathy
My emotions have been cut back by my proverbial knife

Moving into each day as if I am next to nothing
In many places have I found a home
I look at others constantly frothing
I feel appreciative that I’m not alone

Now let me bleed your devastation until eternity ends
I want to be there to uplift your morality
Let the martyrs of your world die with their friends
Let’s make this cartoonist’s life a reality

Dare to denounce damaging distrait
Strengthen sorrowful sensuality
Proclaim your powerful pride
Withdraw downwardly winding wants

Bring to light your needs
Drink from your fountain of youth
Plant your rational seeds
Proudly spread the truth

Starve the power hungry hordes
Feed the weak and meager
Steal from the low stabbing lords
Give to the trustworthy and eager

Dare we die to dance with the damned
Should we strive to share with the selfish
Proudly play with things unplanned
Why wait for one perfect wish

Build your life being founded by love
Live your life based on bare necessities
Find love by showing your true colors
Die being satisfied with your existence

You can do anything
But you could lose everything
Just have faith in me
Then it will be easier to see
