The story is about two boy and a pool.
Once there was a boy named Tom who wanted to go swimming but he didn't have any money so he started working by mowing lawns. A week later he had enough money to go swimming at the pool. While he was there he saw a boy putting some stuff in the water. Tom asked the boy what he was putting in the water, the boy said hes putting this powder in the water to keep it clean while peolpe swim in it. Tom asked the boy what is your name, the boy said my name is Antonio. Tom said are you a pool boy, Antonio said yes this is my summer job. A hour later the pool was about to close so Tom and Antonio said bye to each other and left. The next summer they both saw each other again but this time Antonio wasn't the pool boy he was there to swim and they became friends.

When they became friends they started going to the pool almost every weekend. One day they didin't have any money to go swimming. So they asked their parents for some money. But their parents said they don't have any money. So they started walking around thinking of how to get some money then Antonio had an idea, they could do peoples hair. Then Tom said nobodys going to let us touch their hair, yeah your right. Then Tom said we can get jobs, we're old enough to get one. We can work at the candy store where Mr. Bob works. Maybe he'll give us a job, he's nice to every one. But first we need to ask our parents. They walked back up the street to ask them. They all said yes. So they walked down the street to the candy store to ask Mr. Bob to give a job. When they got there he said yes I'll give you two a job. But you do know it doesn't pay much. They said they don't care, we just want money to go swimming every weekend. From then on they had a job.
