a poem about heroes
Heroes don’t have to have superpowers
They don’t have to save the world hour by hour

They can save a cat from a tree
Or help a blind person see

They can be a doctor, a fireman, a mother too
They can be anyone who knows what they want to do

A hero is someone who doesn’t give up
They don’t think enough is enough

Do something good never give up
Try your best and live it up

Who is your hero what did they do?
Why are they so important to you?

Spiderman, Superman, Batman too
They are heroes in the cartoon world

Mother Teresa, Pope John Paul and Martin Luther King too
Were some heroes in the life of me and you

Heroes are just like me and you
And you can do what they do too
If you set your mind and come through

Don’t ever give up and never look back and maybe some day
It will all come back

And you can become a hero without even knowing
And leave someone’s face happy and glowing
