The Picture

They all gather behind me, my biggest fans
I'm the reason they're smiling, acting so strange
They tease me with flowers, throw leaves in my hair
Make monkey sounds and call out by name

Grammy and Pop Pop, Grandma and Paw Paw
Then there's my mommy and daddy so dear
They want to freeze time in this picture today
For they know that tommorrow I'll not be the same

I know they all love me from the look in their eyes
I have  some of each one of them inside me to guide 
So I thank them for giving me this wonderful life
I hope that this picture brings them much joy and delight

I have many names and I answer to all
Sweet Pea, Boom Box, C Bill, Bud-Ro
I'm Chase William Babb, named before birth
I'm their "Sweet Little Man" and will always be so.
