This poem deals with being raised on comparisons.
In a candy aisle on the floor of a local store.
Two little children danced, sang and twirled about.
Not a care in the world, except happiness.
And enjoyment in life.
I believe children to be the innocent beginning.
Which leads to a life of comparison and concealment.
Being told, "do not play in the store".
Out of respect for others, and maybe their own well being.
Their spirit suppressed each day as they grow older.
Then a lifetime spent on a journey in search of that innocence again.
And even spending several lifetimes through their eternal lives.

Travel to the center of the universe through a life of many crosses to bear.
And endless dead end streets.
But with each a lesson of life learned, with love from above.
Constant comparisons from birth can turn one cold.
Then ultimately bitter toward others.

We are here for only a short while.
And in fact, it is the only time measured in our eternal life.
So the way I see it.
There is really no time to find what once was ours.
And since comparison dictates our earthly path.
It certainly can stand in the way of true destiny.

And then once found we finally realize that it is much too late
to enjoy the things given us to find joy.
We were created in this life with five senses for a reason.
He meant for us to enjoy, and feel His love forever.
Eternally.

New into this world.
The brilliant disposition, and minds of our children.
So full of spirit and energy.
With minds so open that they reach up into heaven.
They are full of the spirit from the other side.
Hear them sing, watch them twirl about as they play.
We are to make them feel at home, and free to be.

They have a specific place here in time and space.
Show them love, show them goodness without compare.
Cherish them, for they are the innocent ones.
Learn from them, as you teach them.
We are all here for one another, as one.

As much as we want to mold them.
We are to learn something from their precious auras.
So for the Love of our Lord,
Please let the children dance.
