As I sit and I ponder my lot in this life
And ignore all the dither and din
I realize I'm actually in pretty good shape
Pretty good for the shape that I'm in
My skin's a bit wrinkled, the age spots appear
But an elephant's wrinkled up too
And I do realize, with a tinge of regret
This will happen to me and to you
But when all's said and done-I've had my share of fun
And I'm not looking up at the grass
Yes, I've come to accept-that I'm somewhat inept
But in time-even this too shall pass
No, I'll never be rich monetarily
But really-I don't give a damn
'Though my life's mostly spent-I am more than content
With the "Who" and the "What" that I am!
