A Cruel World

It’s a cruel world out there,
Where everything is unfair
The rich are mean and seedy.
They never help the poor and needy.

So much advancement in science and technology
But for whom should the acknowledgement be?
For this advancement brings only scientific changes,
The lives of the rich and poor still ranges.

Justice, fraternity, liberty, equality
Will these words ever become a reality?
For it’s a cruel world out there,
Where everything is unfair.

In such a cruel world of today’s,
We can do nothing-
But hope for the arrival of good days.
