A story I used to tell my younger siblings, at night before we fell to sleep.

Harry Fox (2)

In the attic of our old home at night,
This animal would often give a fright,
All my younger siblings seven in all,
They listened for Harry Fox I'd call.

Their eyes got big and stayed quiet.
I would tell them about Harry's life.
The suspense ran wild in their minds,
Harry was in the imagination of mine.

So after a story of Harry Fox, I'd tell,
Before sleep their, minds slept well.
I think of my siblings living at home,
Love we had before we were grown.

Now, years later I think of back then,
The love and closeness we lived in.
Harry Fox, the story gave us a scare,
When we slept together, with no care.
