Dunes (Mirage of You)

Absorbed by a montage of colour
A spectrum of surreality
A palette of over lapping clouds, trees and pylon chains running alongside each other
The image of desire branded
into the skin of my eye lid
Footprints of the night on the ceiling
leading to the ground
Taut and numb in serenity
I speak but hear no sound
Dune sands from the semiarid planet reverie on the floor
The sententious words of everyone I lor
The beauty of the sunrise mirror- shining across the sepia sea
Lighting a path
Guiding me- to what is mine
The horizon of discovery
Glimmers through the haze on the battle field
Shadow boxing an opaque destiny
Demolish a beach
-with the power of serendipity

You were everywhere but no where
-in my thoughts
,always on my mind
Never two footprint sets in the sand
A mirage in the night
Guiding me and making me strong
Although you’re not in sight
Appearing at moments of pure beauty
A vision of an angel
-taking first flight

Somewhere in the vast galaxy of the mind
Lies the key to happiness
