Spend a day with exasperating Sue, a girl on the move. (4th place winning story)
Wake up! Wake up, my Wiggle Worm Sue.
It's time to get up and get a move.
Wiggle Worm, Wiggle Worm, Wiggle Worm Sue.
C’mon now, wake up! We have so much to do.

Open your eyes and wiggle your toes.
Get up and get dressed. I've picked out your clothes.
Look and see they're on your bed.
It's your favorite dress, the one yellow and red.

I've fixed us a sandwich and lemonade to drink.
As I finish packing will you put the dishes in the sink?
Now that we're ready, let's load our bags.
Hurry now Sue. We're going bye-bye so don't start to lag.

Put on your jacket, and grab a hat.
No…. No….. No….. Wiggle Worm!
We are NOT taking the cat!

Now climb in the car and watch for the park.
We are going to play and picnic until it gets dark.
Oh look, do you see it? There are the swings and the curly red slide.
Stop wiggling Sue! We're here; it was a short little ride.

My, my, my what a beautiful day. Don’t you think so Sue?
It's not very hot and the sky looks so blue.
Here is our blanket and I’ll take our bags.
We need to pick a picnic spot before we play tag.

Here Sue, help me lay out the blanket so flat.
There. I think we are about ready. What’s that Wiggle Worm?
Yes…… I too miss Fred, our kitty cat.

Run! Can you catch me, my Wiggle Worm Sue?
Tag you’re it! Now what are you going to do?
Wow! You run so fast you caught me real quick.
Watch out there Sue! Don’t trip over that brick.

Wiggle Worm are you ready to play on the jungle gym yet?
I'll push you higher and higher on the red swing set.
Reach up! Reach up! Can you touch the sky?
Oh, Wiggle Worm, look! You are up so high!

Sue look up at the clouds. Tell me what do you see?
Is that a monkey? Elephant? Or just a big tree?
Do you see that white bird flying up above?
He is so pretty. I wonder what kind he is. Maybe a dove?

Hey Sue! Are you hungry yet? It’s time to eat.
C’mon on now Wiggle Worm. Don’t stomp your feet.
Pass me the carrots and you can have some chips.
Wiggle Worm be careful! Your drink almost slipped.
MMMM....My tummy is full. Sue, how about yours?
Would you like some cake? I can’t eat any more.

OK Wiggle Worm let’s clean up our mess.
Please brush off the crumbs all over your dress.
It's almost time to go now so please don't pout.
Stop the temper tantrum young lady. I don't want to shout.
We have to throw away our trash and load up the car.
We can come again soon, we don't live far.

Take another turn on the slide if you dare.
I will wait for you and sit on the bench over there.
Around and around the slide you went.
Ok! You're done! One turn is all I meant.

Hop in the car for it is getting dark.
We had a fun day didn’t we? Here at the park?
Well, I have one last surprise for you Wiggle Worm Sue.
Tomorrow will be just as much fun. We are going to the zoo!

At last we are home. Did you miss us kitty Fred?
Sue was sure you were sleeping on her bed.
Now it’s time for a bath and to wash your hair.
Get your rubber ducky. I think I saw him on the stairs.

Wiggle Worm, Wiggle Worm, Wiggle Worm Sue.
Why are you wiggling? You have so much sleeping to do.
You have had your bath and your hair is dry.
Just take a deep breath and close your eyes.

Hush and sleep now Wiggle Worm Sue
Tomorrow holds many surprises new.
I will sing you a lullaby and blow you a kiss
Once you’re asleep your sweet smile I will miss.

Wiggle Worm, Wiggle Worm, Wiggle Worm Sue.
When you wake up tomorrow, I’ll be waiting for you.
I will be here waiting to hug and kiss you.
For I always love you, My Wiggle Worm Sue.
