Spirituality
Glimpses of a spirit, I can sometimes see,
Glimpses of a spirit, so truly free.
Glimpses of a spirit letting life proceed,
not burdened by life's giving,
not a want or a need.
Glimpses of a spirit not holding to the past
Glimpses of a spirit understanding such moments,
moments that do not last.
I am watchful for this spirit,
hoping I will see,
for the glimpses of this spirit,
are truly just glimpses of me.
