Wrote during the initial breakup of a failed relationship.
Tossing and turning
On a half empty bed
Feelings of pain
Running lose in my head

Outlining your body
On a pillow at night
Choking and aching
On tears that I fight

Alone in the corner
Attempting to hide
Frustration I carry
So lonely inside

My body is twisting
Knotting around
To be with you again
Would never I frown

Forgive me please love
Unknown what I’ve done
Come back to me now
We’ll lay down as one
