Tears of an Angel

The angel's wings rose far above her head as glistening tears rolled down her cheeks from beautiful all-seeing eyes.  Eyes that had not missed the destruction of the uncaring race.  She, for, although the angel is a being untainted by description of sex, this is the easiest way to explain her beauty in words, looked to the sky and, with one swift and brief stroke of her heavenly wings, rose to the sky and ascended from the concrete of the city block.  After a few seconds of unhindered flight, she froze upon the air and looked down upon the people who had scorned her, ridiculed her, and judged her and cried.  Cried the tears of an angel.  And where those tears fell, the world felt the sorrows of an angel.  The tears fell upon the faces of children, turned to the sky, and gave them the gift of love, forgiveness, compassion, and mercy.  These children of man were touched, not by an angel, but by the heart of an angel and were thus given the eyes of angels, to see the poor conditions of the world, and the hands of angels to change the world and mold it to a better place.  A world fit for angels.  Heaven.  Heaven on earth.  Can you see it?  Can you see the world through the eyes of an angel?
