Dark, black, growing ever deeper,
My hard work increases, the hill is growing steeper.
Peer into those great black gems,
Black in the centre gold at the hems.
Cannot read the book beyond,
For that of which I’ve grown so fond.
Just wish to dive in full,
To break the greater backward pull.
But when I try to do it,
It’s those invisible boundaries that I hit.
So all I do is gaze into,
Until I find how to break through.
