it says it all...
It’s hard for me to see you
And not want you back
I have everything yet nothing
Cause something’s missing
And that something is you.
Thank you for loving me,
For being there when I couldn’t see,
For helping me when I couldn’t breath.
Why can’t you see what your love means to me?
Why deprive the heart of its blood,
The life of its soul?
I see you and wish you’d be mine
But you’re the one I’ll never have.
Now that you’re gone
Everything seems so wrong
Things are stopping me
I can’t even breathe
I ask if you even cared
Finding it simple to leave me in despair
With a broken heart, troubled soul
Lost in this pitiful world
There’s a lot of moving but I can’t move
A lot of time but mine has run out
I asked you to love me but that’s something you hardly do
Something you said but never meant
Your words are hollow yet filled with hope poisoning my slowly dying heart.
Then, as if punishing me for wanting you, you left without a care,
Leaving me empty and bare.
My memories are all I have
But they are shattered in a million pieces.
Putting them together is impossible because you’re not here.
You’re the final piece but since you’ve gone
My puzzle, my life, my heart is left undone.
