Stagnation

Stagnation moves towards madness.
The green stays green
And the red red
As the beast begins to stir.

The chains of routine hold tight.
The two way mirror taunts, unbreakable.
The blood drips
As the holes begin to appear.

The cell is built tight.
The stale air begins to constrict, choke.
The skin wants to rip
As the blood begins to boil.

The howl is oppressed,
The rage held down.
Exhaustion takes over
As blackness sets in.
