The time has come, part II

The truth has now been heard,
My future seems so blurred,
You have betrayed my trust,
No punishment could be more just.

I've only ever loved you,
Nothing more I wanted to do,
How can I go on and forgive,
For these thoughts I'll always relive.

I came to you open and willing,
What you've said was rather chilling,
I'm begging you please be honest with me,
I can promise you, this will be my only plea.

For what I give you is more than enough,
Your recovery will surely be tough,
Love like mine you get one shot,
So saying I'm sorry doesn't mean a lot.

I'm true, faithful, and tender,
For your love I will surrender,
These thoughts that go through my mind,

Without out you my world is dark and grey,
