it has become very warm so I take off my shoes and socks
A BAREFOOT WALK

BY FREDERICK J. MORALES

ON A WINDY DAY MY THOUGHTS GONE ASTRY

OF THINGS I LOVE;LIKE THE BARE TREES,

THE SKY AND THE THE WINTERS COLD

I THINK "GOODBYE'

WALKING I SEE SIGNS IN THE CLOUDS

THAT SAY CHANGE MY MINDS'-EYE TO

SOON PACE THROUGH THE GRASS

AND PICK UP A SPLINTER

OF SNOWS' DECAY

THAT IT WILL HINDER

SPRING HAS COME TO THIS NEW DAY,

ALL THE COLD HAS GONE AWAY

FROM ALL MY THOUGHTS OF WORDLY PONDER.

ALL I CAN WALK,THINK AND TALK,

NOW HAS COME A WARMTH AND WONDER.

AND THE SUNS PROTECTION,

NO LONGER ANTICIPATING

A COLD STORMS DETECTION.
