This poem is about a real life self exploration journey.
You find yorself walking a path you've been down too many times
And wonder what it'd be like so you choose to close your eyes

Are you smarter for the knowledge gained

Or less so because you tried

Something that could hurt you if you falied to do it right

Did you notice anything new

Or did fear make you hide

Did you feel the sun against your skin, the wind against your cheek

Did you freeze up as soon as you heard your inner fright speak

Can you just think about all that makes you feel complete

Take a moment to ponder and trust to follow your feet

I walked that way today

With one sense tucked away

And wasn't scared at all

Didn't even think I would trip and fall

And soon after, then the journey over

I open my eyes to see the path always ends

Just where it always begins

Back at home.
