Never Forget

Chapter I – A Cold Night Begins . . .

A cool fog rolls in through the alleys on this late night. Nothing is terribly different about tonight. As time goes by, I stand in the shadows were I always am. Just waiting, watching for anything interesting. All of a sudden, . . . there he was. A lone man, thin and tall, and completely unexpected. I wait and watch. I tense up. My heart is pounding, I start to go numb. And then, . . . the man stopped, didn’t move, and then I struck. Within a second, He was dead, his head on the ground. My blades were covered in blood. I am Rakito, and this is my story of pure revenge, murder, and rage.
My name is Rakito, the oblivish word for wrath. And I seem to show it well. I kill,  . . . and I love it. I love the smell, the taste, the feel of blood. My arm blades, a genetic mutation, allow me to kill. Yet I don’t think of them as a mutation, more of an advancement. My blades rotate and extend to my will. I could just sit around and cry because of my little problem. Never! I won’t. I’ll kill them all. They will all die by my blades. Yet, this is not where my story begins. Let me bring you back to the day I realized my passion, my urge to kill.
It was a cold day, the sun had gone down a few hours ago. I decided to go out that night, just for a bit of air. I knew it was a bad idea to go out, but I still did anyway. The wind whipped across my face but I just ignored it. You know, you never really know Anger till you can’t control it.
I flew to the roofs, just trying to find someone, anyone, . . . and her, just standing there was a perfect target. She was bending over, picking up her purse. Within at least two seconds, I was behind her with a blade at her neck. The air stood still, nothing moved, but you could hear her heart beating, pounding in her chest.
“Don’t kill me!” She screamed and tried not to struggle.
( Now before I continue, I now realize that this little trip was a horrible idea. Lights everywhere from the huge flames in their hands [All ancients (form of alien I created) have the ability to control the elements. Some of these just happen to control fire.] I couldn’t escape. My heart stopped, I couldn’t more, but I felt my rage burn. I had one last choice, the only thing I could do, . . . was to fight, kill!)
I stare into the bright orbs of burning fire. I could see their anger, their hate, and the same time, they feared me. While through all of this she had been screaming trying to get away. Out of anger, I imbedded my blade into her neck and her blood poured onto my arm and spilled upon the ground, and I saw some of the sekeri (security / police) more back. I spread my wings and flew straight to the roof. Now, if I had realized that this branch of sekeri were coie (ice) zamars (elementals), I would have acted quicker than I did. They froze my wings and legs, and then I fell to the ground in the alley.
“I’ll kill you all, you bastards. None of you will live if I am still alive.” They looked me in the eyes and laughed.
“Take him away. Bring him the MS3P (Maximum Security Prison for Psychopathic Patients).” The chief laughed again as they dragged me away. Another to die I thought to myself, but still didn’t put up a fight.”
