A poem I wrote to my ex. I'm pretty unexperienced with poetry, so it might not be good.
See my tears?
They aren't for you anymore.
About you, maybe.  About the words you spoke.
But not for you.  Never for you.

See my eyes turn bitter green?
That is for you.
Look in them, like you
Never have before and
Read my like a book.
Feel my heartache.

See the memories in my smile?
Remember me in your arms.
Lips locked in a kiss,
Helpless, on my back.

See the trembling of my hands
As they trace your chest?
I use and am used
As I hide my tears,
The bloody tears that drip from my wrists.

See the bending of my back?
I pull myself
DOwn in submission
To fight for my freedom.
