It was my first day
as the teacher here,
the attitude of many
was quite queer.
They told me these children
would be a handful
that in the right direction
they'd need a push or a pull.
I'd always loved children
since the day I was one,
to me they were always
bundles of fun.
And that was my opinion
until I met this class
the way that they acted
I couldn't wait for days to pass.
Sometimes screaming,
sometimes not,
whatever the case
these kids had to be taught.
Who knew 5-year-olds
were such a fuss?
Who knew they were
the ones I couldn't trust?
I didn't last long,
a few weeks perhaps,
but I told my boss
I couldn't teach this class!
I don't know
who took my place,
all I know,
is that I'm off this case.
