About Me

Hello, my name is Christopher but I usually go by Chris.
Some of my friends just call me "Van Fleet" which is my
full last name. Either way, I am the same smart, romantic,
easy going, and to people I don't know, quiet person. I believe
that there is more to the world than just the physical and some
of my poetry explains certain aspects of my faith in god. Other
pieces in my portfolio describe my love, my hate, and my hurt.
In my poetry, there are some things that I need to work on as far as
punctuation unless I have other-wise indicated differently.
In some of the poems, I need to work on the word flow and
the meanings in my words. It is important to me that I get my
point (plot) accross to my readers. I don't want people to
be confussed after they are done reading so if anyone has
a question, then just ask. In poetry, it is important to get the
authors point of view but it is not required just to enjoy the poem.
People don't always see the same meanings behind certain word
combinations but that is the beauty behind poetry. Sometimes I
like to write abstract poems just to see if the reader is paying
attension to the big picture, so to speak. I enjoy getting feedback
from other authors so feel free to take a peak into my soul. Happy
