This is about the unkindness of life, and how I still wish to bring someone into it
My mother, her womb, full of me
She can't see
What unrest my mind, my heart is to see

A daughter, a baby, my soul wants most
I will boast
Of her beauty, 'fore I give up the ghost

But now on myself, I ponder
Mind launder
The notion of bringing a poor soul yonder

A joyous affair is this birth I'm aware,
I don't dare
Though, to be so unfair
