Watching and Waiting

I stare at you day after day, Do you even notice?
I watch you walk along, I can see you stumble,
but how hard, how far did you fall?
I'll never know,
I reach out my hand, but no one takes it,
I offer my help, but you Don't even reply
Your back on your feet, trotting on and on
Stumble you do, but how hard, I'll never know
where do you fall?  Why tell me?
I call out your name, I'll give you my life and more
but nay,
You refuse me.
As you keep moving on, you draw pictures in the sand
I can only glance as the waters wash them away.
Are you trying to tell me?  Do you want me to see?
WHAT is it.... I don't understand...
Why can you not tell me, Why cant you let me see?
Why cant you accept my help
why do you want me to let you be?
You keep on running, I'll be here still
