Short poem for a friend
As time goes by,
when I think alone
The memories of this time
will come,
and lighten up my load.
A smile will come,
my heart will tug,
a tear may slowly fall,
For happiness will be mine,
for knowing you
a sweet, sweet soul,
my friend,
my dear sister.
