Flood

Water gushing down the streams,
Flooding people in suburban streets,
Leaking tap that's all it seems,
The water is rising in great feets.


Everyone trying to get home,
They have to put up a fight,
They are all alone,
If they drown their out of sight


Some succeed in crossing,
Some do not,
It would have been a bit of dodging,
For the ones that got across.


Trees falling,
Wind blowing,
People drowning,
Rain falling.
THE FLOOD!
