A sad lonley man sat on the beach.
Feeling the cold sand beneath his feet.
Watching the policeman on his beat
Merry young people on the street

He sits there all night and into the day
If only there was someone to show him the way
He gets to his feet and waunders far away
Not knowing what people will say or do

All it takes is a little time and care
A person who all his problems and fears to share
Some one else his burden could share
To make this world just a little fair

So open your heart to the man on the beach
Its all very easy Gods love to preach
Why not give him an outstreched hand
