Pain and heartache.... a love poem
He spins his web carefully
Slowly making his way.
Patiently he hides
And finally sees his prey.
You fall into his web
Mistaking the true intent.
Your mind forgets all dangers
As your body becomes spent.
You are entranced
By the beauty of his mask,
He moves in even further
To complete his fatal task..
The hidden evil emerges
And the innocence begins to fade,
Yet he is still preparing you
For the plans that he has made.
He wraps his arms around you
To keep you quietly calm.
Like a gypsy he knows you,
Able to read your palm.
His grip becomes tighter
Stealing all your breath,
Finally Its clear,
The future holds death.
He slowly devours
Your soul and mind.
Then swallows your heart
That once was so kind.
He is the spider
And now he is through.
You will always remember
As your heart slowly kills you
