Spoken word- A lyrical ryme about some one who falls in love |
“Charisma” Your a distant stranger Eyes of loneliness and unknown nature Can I be? Possibly? Falling for your mysterious ways placing me in this mistiful haze I touch your skin begging (you) mindfully to let me in In your desirable existence Existence that encourages my persistence To Follow your lead and continue my need Of your stare Subconscious thoughts urges me to avoid but your Absence shamelessly annoys Me to chase Chase after your power that gets under my skin I’m letting you in I’m falling fast I’m breathing slow I can’t see “no” ! You’re taking over Forcing my ability to love As you Shove me near now I’m in fear I can’t deal So I kneel As I pray to God to relax And give me strength While I watch you there again to rebuild my faith I’m convinced on your hypnotism That mechanically limits me mentally Now I pause In a circular illusion of confusion as I implore you to Limit my shame disintegrate your aim Of what I’m about Still I doubt That your intentions are out to destroy But for others I’m a ploy so I naturally coy Then I surrender To your selfish charisma . by Candace DeFoor |
