A note from the authors

Hello! You've found the shared account of Tom and Rachael.

Ages ago, we decided to come up with a prompt, in this case, a list of nine words and phrases, that we would both use to write two individual stories. We thought it would be fun and interesting to see what we came up with.

Although it took us ages to actually complete the task, we did, and it was an enjoyable experiment, and so we think we'll have fun doing more of these in the future.

This account was created at Tom's insistence, so we would have a place to not only keep our "assignments," but to share them with anyone who would be interested in reading them.

If you do read our works, we welcome your thoughts and constructive criticisms. Also, we would like to note that the words and phrases from the prompt are underlined within each piece, so that the reader can see how they were used.

As of right now there is only one prompt, but we hope to add more in the near future, as we come up with prompts and complete assignments.  You can view the prompts in the item in our portfolio entitled "Prompts."
