First ten years "out in the world" |
Since leaving high school my life has gone something like this; In an attempt to satisfy my educational yearning I attended two institutions of higher learning. In order to pay my way I cut, baled and hauled hay, cut cattle into steak, even milked them for a break. I was even able to realize my Vo-Ag thrills by obtaining employment with my metalurgical skills. I got to work with movie stars and saw the Hollywood scene with thoughts of one day getting onto the silverscreen. My first marriage was brief, the five years were few, But so thankful am I for my son Matthew. Along the way I've broke mules and horses, welcomed home Desert Storm forces, bought and sold dogs, shot and trapped wild hogs, knocked on doors, met people by scores, sold new and used cars, shot at people at bars, and got through it all with just a couple of scars. In the spring of 94 my second wife and I were married and in January of 95 out of the hospital I carried our new tiny baby girl how sweet is her name and since that day my life hasn't been the same. My current employment keeps me from home, faraway. But I've seen a few sights here and there on the way. Atlantic City, Philadelphia, the Big Apple too, but none of them can compare to L.A. "The Human Zoo!" Right now I'm in Death Valley burning off my ass. So do me a favor and all tip your glass and pardon me for missing the reunion of my class! |
