Will she ever hear the answers from his own mouth?
Sitting on your stool quiety contemplating
Elbows on knees, steady eyes seeing nothing
Glowing stick in your hand trickling smoke.
You know what you did.
You knew what I was.
No offer of protection, only greed filled affection.
Through your haze, you never thought about what's to come...
Uncovering, revelation

As years go by, dreams give way to recognition.
You knew the day was coming
You knew you couldn't escape.
Reality crashing down on your first born
Claws and screams purging the poison of your acts
Eyes clench against possibilites too ugly to speak
But no relief in blindness
Exposure, Revealing

Sitting on your stool, your mirror image in front of you.
Many days you waited..wondering..
Do you dare look into that soul for your sins?
Do you glance away too scared of her hell?
Peace, trust, affection disappeared with the flame you devour,
For her there is no going back, no more reclaiming.
All that's left is what you can give her..
Truth....admission
