The Mirror

As I look into the mirror
I don't see a reflection.
Sitting here,
looking into the mirror,
I am trying to find my reflection.
Where is it?
Where did it go?
Where am I?
Where am I on the inside?
Looking into the mirror I see
a spot where I should be.
I don't see myself at all.
Where am I?
Where did I go?
Somewhere down the line,
my reflection was lost.
Condemned to a world
where the people can see themselves.
But not me, not my reflection.
Where is it?
