Narrative about my mother
Heroes Being Amazing
My hero turns out to be my mother Yvrose Desilus. She is a short brown skin woman making it in her own world. She is very special to me because she is where I get my inspiration, dedication, and determination from. I always love to see her smile like the sun because that means that she is proud of me. I love my mother dearly but there are just some times that she just bother me about things that I think are silly. You when your parents sometimes say, “Do you think you are grown”? I am really bothered by that. If I was so “grown”, I would not have as much respect for her as I do, I would not be living in her house and most certainly not be following her rules. Ok that is a little extreme I guess. I do everything she asks me to do. When I ask something of her she is hesitant about answering me and starts asking of all these details. I know its because I am a teenager but I was growing up and I did not need a babysitter.
I tend to ask my father to go places. He is more lenient and lets me do a lot of more things. Usually things go my way until one day when I asked him to go to South Shore Plaza with some friends. He said that I should ask my mother. I was shocked because he had never said that to me before. I guess it was because lately I had been asking him for things and my mother had been getting on his case. I did not like asking her because it was so much of a hassle to get what I wanted. I ended attempting to contact her by call her job. I let the phone ring twice and thought that maybe they were busy so I hung up. My mother could have always called me if she needed me. I did not think that it would be a big deal I if I went so I did.
I went to the mall and had a lot of fun. There was a fair that was happening there and I wanted to go and I did. I went on every ride just about twice and also went out to eat. My day was going well until I looked at the time and noticed it was eight o’clock. And from then on, everything went down hill. I was supposed to be home already. I talked on my phone all night so it was dead, the train got stuck and it was raining. I was so mad and scared about what would have happened when I got home.
I got home around nine thirty and of course my mother was at the door waiting for me angry and worried. She was like an everlasting fire that was burning in a furnace. It was about and hour and a half after my curfew. I check my voicemail and noticed that I got five messages from her alone and about fifteen from everyone else I got into so much trouble. I ended up getting grounded and a long speech everyday about how I should at least let someone know where I am going. She was a tree standing her ground because she kept her promise with grounding me. My mother was like the moon because I was her Earth that she was revolving around keeping her eyes on me.
Yes I got in lots of trouble but it was not for too long.  The punishment gave me time to thing about what I had done. I guess it purpose had gotten fulfilled. Her actions also made me realize how much she cares about me. I should be grateful for what I have and be appreciative of her. Now I always try to check in with her and make sure that she knows where I am. I also learned to think about the choices that I am making and to make better ones. The outcomes can hurt other people and make them very distraught. My mother Yvrose Desilus has really help me get through in life. I am happy that I have her because not a lot of people still have their parents by their side to support them. My mother is there doing her job and she is doing it pretty good. She is my mobile fortress that I can take everywhere with me and I am grateful.
