What Lies Within

What lies within a heart that has been broken into millions of pieces, which can no longer feel anymore, or even know what it's like to beat with joy and happiness?

What lies within a person who has a good heart, but has constantly been hurt, who feels they are obligated to pain, not knowing how to live a life of luxury?

What lies within a soul in search of happiness, trying to fight every temptation which may occur, hoping one day when the time comes it may rest peacefully?

What lies within a body that yearns to be held in the arms by its love one, a body that searches for an identity, one who's missing something but doesn't know what's lost?

What lies within the combination of all of the above is someone that I have became, but until the day comes where I don't have to be what I have became, I'll sit and wonder what lies within...
