Romantic poem. Never been happy with the penultimate line - grateful for any suggestions.

              First Impressions

At the first, humbly touched by your presence,
By your inner being instantly warmed,
I felt your truth go through me, igniting
Passion’s flame from dormant hibernation,
Pouring forth a warmth of inspiration,
Your looks and smiles and beauty inciting
Into action upon those first thoughts formed,
Now expanding, increasing resonance.

To steal your eyes in a moment’s warming,
Appraising look, reciprocating mine,
A thousand kisses is worth from past queens
Set on pedestals too high, and deep lies
The honest smile in warming wells of eyes,
Where to drown, going naturally it seems,
Would be a fate so incredibly fine…
Love’s sweet stings strike again, now come swarming.
